DualPiP v1.6 Release Notes

This update brings a complete gesture control experience to the Picture-in-Picture player and introduces a new Learning Mode designed for language learning, allowing you to study efficiently while watching videos.

• Double-Tap to Seek: Double-tap on the left side of the PiP window to rewind and on the right side to fast-forward. Touch zones are customizable.
• Swipe to Seek: Swipe left or right to control playback position with thumbnail preview (free on YouTube and Bilibili, PRO feature on other sites).
• Volume/Brightness Adjustment: Swipe up or down to adjust volume and screen brightness, with a side indicator bar.
• Long-Press Speed Boost: Long-press on the video to speed up playback; release to return to normal speed.
• Scroll to Seek: Use the mouse wheel to quickly adjust playback position.
• Gesture Guide: A gesture guide automatically appears on first use.
• In-Player Gesture Settings: Adjust all gesture settings without leaving the PiP window.
• Touch Zone Customization: Customize the behavior of the left, center, and right double-tap zones.
• Thumbnail Preview Settings: Show thumbnail preview when hovering over the progress bar or swiping to seek.

• Subtitle List Panel: Press L to open Learning Mode with split and collapsed layouts. Drag the divider to adjust the panel ratio.
• AB Loop Repeat: Multi-loop management with audio fade-in/out and precise timing — perfect for practicing specific segments repeatedly.
• AB Loop Toolbar: A draggable floating toolbar for fine-tuning A/B points, pause/resume, and loop counting.
• Selection Mode: Shift+click to select a range of subtitles and create a continuous loop interval with one click.
• Smart Sentence Merge: Automatically merge fragmented subtitles into complete sentences for better readability.
• First-Use Guide: A guide automatically appears when Learning Mode is first activated, introducing double-click jump, loop, and selection mode features.
• Double-Click to Jump: Double-click a subtitle in list mode to jump to that time point.
• Remember Layout Preference: Your split/collapsed layout choice is automatically saved.

• Control bar supports adaptive two-row layout for small window sizes.
• Thumbnail preview for non-PRO users now shows a semi-transparent blur effect, letting you preview the feature while learning about PRO value.
• Gesture controls are automatically disabled on video editing sites (such as Canva and Clipchamp) to avoid conflicts.

• Fixed z-index conflict between settings menu and membership dialog.
• Fixed control bar overflow at certain window widths.
• Fixed settings menu not expanding sub-menus on first click.
• Fixed gesture UI not displaying correctly when reopening PiP after closing.
